Curling tomato foliage
are pale and curled. There doesn't seem to be any pest present, but the crop is weak. Sounds like a silly question but are the leaves curling up at the edges or down at the edges? The difference usually leads to different diagnoses. Just to expand a little by florafanatic

problem with toms!
see within the enlarged brown spots. How exactly do your spots look, f&n?   They are irregular light brown and thinner than the green part of the leaf which are darker brown round the edges i have two tomato plants which are an italian plum and a by foxglove and newts

cuttings-take a non-flowering shoot around 4/5 inches trim to just below a leaf -node -push into compost around the edge of a pot- do a few to be sure you have a success-cover with a plastic bag they will root in around 3/4 weeks here is a video by Johnny1

What can I plant next to a pond?
Grasses look nice by ponds, the evergreen type. Ferns and hostas too, if one side is shaded. Irises look great. marginal plants are what you need,I have kingcup marshmarigold,reeds,water iris.watermint,plants that live near edge of ponds . Any by Lemonpixie

work.GW I too have primroses in flower. However, I love the bright ones also, at this time of year they bring welcome splashes of colour to my rather bland garden. Looking out of the bedroom window this morning the primroses edging the border looked by Pablo

out of the edges of leaves, Knock the plant out of its pot and look for any white grubs in the soil, if you find any and they have not too much damage to the roots ,get as much soil off the roots re-pot and water with a suitable vine weevil killer by mucky

Drooping Birch Tree
droopy and the leaves are all edged with brown - looks like burns.We love this tree and dont want to loose it. It may be wind burn, it has been very wet and windy and cold. So early autumning. You normally do not prune Birch. If you really have by KarlyFarly

strimmer that picks up
This wet weather is a nightmare it just seems to be trying to catch up with grass cutting and lawn edging. I hate strimmers for edging I end up on my hands and knees using my old kitchen scissors which takes ages but at least I'm not clearing up by weejenny

Daffodill and Tulip bulps planting
at different layers too. How about some aubrietia for the edges? I would choose scented varieties, just look on the packets. I meant to add cheerfulness and sweetness are very fragrant daffodils and in my garden they fill the air in spring. Pack them in by ping

leaf damage to container plants
eaten, with the damage starting either from outer edge of the leaf, or from circular holes in the middle of the leaf.  So far I can't find sign of vine weevil grubs or adults.  Any advice welcome! A lot of creatures are night feeders and I always suspect by Katy12
