Is it still ok to feed dried fruit to birds bearing in mind the young
was only about £7.00  and I do put dried fruit in as well,  I feed the birds 365 so there's always plenty of them about,  they do bring the chicks when they are fledging and feed them from the feeders be it fat ball feeders or seed,  like obelix I think by Lavender Lady

is it ok to feed birds ordinary suet rather the prepared bird suet you can buy
I have noticed that it is much cheaper to buy the tesco branded suet rather than buy the prepared suet in the pet shops.  Is this ok to give the birds ?  I feed them dried fruit, oats but always buy the prepared suet.  I seem to be getting through by Lavender Lady

Talkback: Bird watching
We feed the birds regularly and are rewarded as we frequently see Blue, Great, Coal & Longtail tits along with all the other usual birds. Last year we put out a niger seed feeder and this attracts Goldfinches, we were very pleased when on Christmas by Tommy
