Cabbage 'Greyhound'

Recycling things to use in the garden
.  Wooden fruit crates are excellent for putting potted up plants in. The containers take-a-ways come in are good to freeze stuff grown in the garden and great to store various feeds like bone meal in or bird seed, slug pellets etc, and. they are mouse by Sam Glendinning

. Here in the Scottish Borders we're in the middle of a wintry period of snow and ice and the birds are finding it tough to get enough to eat. Why not check out your apple store now and put out any damaged/ rotting ones for the birds. They won't mind by Del Richards

the daylight hours so they can't murder the birds & let them out at night so they can deal with the rodents. Dogs are quite efficient! This may seem horrid but water spray if you are in the garden at the same time. Cleaning up deposits well and irrigating by Gardenqueen

Hissing Bees??
, as I do feed the birds alot. I did investigate it somewhat thoroughly, and I couldn't see anything other than the 2 bees and a frog. I can only suggest that you check it again daily. If the sound continues it's more likely to be a bee than the other by Daniel Smith2
