Garden gaffes
! Never mind , the birds love it and it's somewhere to hang the fat balls. However don't know what the neighbours think !!! I am prone to garden gaffes although thankfully plants always try their best to cover up my mistakes. One example I'm not exactly by jean riley

Peony Pruning?

it feeding it but it is just sad and wilting and only has skinny branches. Anyone have any ideas. thanks. I have a young Victoria plum and this is the first year that I have seen it with leaf on, the leaves have mostly come out with a effect that the leaves by Dawn Hambleton

to feed the birds, the carrion sort. I went right off her when she wore that awful rose outfit with matching shoes at Chelsea and just kept going on about breast feeding the new arrival.  Have to say I'm warming to Monty's style and his own patch is much by GRACELAND

Why did you all start gardening?
to be out there to watch all the wildlife as well. The insects, the bats, the newts, the birds. I have to have my daily fix. I started 27 years ago when i moved in with builder boyfriend and as he had finished converting a semi into 2 flats we had the ground by Busy-Lizzie

suppose it,s water proof,im a learner gardener put loads of bulbs all over my front garden 3weeks ago.Im noticing when the birds make a load noise i always see, a kestrel or sparrow halk..its amazing what i can see when im working on my garden, They been by sarahs pondlife...

It Is Not Spring Yet !!!
just been outside to top up bird feeders. My fingers are now sooo cold. Everything is frozen and has been for a couple of days. It keeps sending down a few flaked of the white stuff as well, but really it is.very dry. I have a tray of primulas waiting by sotongeoff
