Bird feeders causing weeds?

Nectar-feeding woodpeckers
Like many people, I have a resident pair of great spotted woodpeckers using the garden and currently busy feeding nestlings. I've noticed over the past two summers that the male in particular enjoys feeding from the flowers of red hot poker, so much by Wildman of Pershore

Talkback: Death in mysterious circumstances

Talkback: December gardening jobs
with the Starlings for the meal worms. I to love this mouth, well every month and season really. You have to accept every season for what it is. It just takes a cold snap to really appreciate the value of feeding garden birds. I've managed to position my feeder so I by happymarion
