Do my Blueberries need feeding?
the plants but I live in Somerset and it's a tad cooler here than it is in the south of the country.   I feed mine an ericaceous top dressing feed every spring to compensate for harsh winters which often kill off a few branches that the shrubs then replace by chicky

MAGNOLIA GRANDIFLORA
weeks. My way would be to forget the spray feed and use a good mulch of hummus rich soil around the base of the plant then wait, it should repair itself.Depending on which type you have their needs vary Neutral or acid soil and some will grow in alkaline by pinkpeony

bird droppings
of the plant where the droppings have landed? Thanks Davie-S Not really. They're no problem on stems unless you get a large build-up, although leaves will obviously be weighed down. They do a great job of feeding plants if they land on the ground - my greenest by Percy-Grower

6x or growmore
and celamtis plus garden compost to imprpve the soil structure and micro organisms. Growmore is a chemical by product of the oilindustry and, whilst it feeds plants temporarily, it adds nothing to the soil and good plants are all about good soil. Chicken by NANNYANN

What is going on with my Clematis?
of leaves, especially on evergreen subjects such as rhodos, camellias, conifers.    Clematis are generally hungry plants so need a broad range feed for roots and foliage with extra oomph for flowers.  Propietary clematis feed will have eveything they need by Joolz13

Nectar-feeding woodpeckers
Like many people, I have a resident pair of great spotted woodpeckers using the garden and currently busy feeding nestlings. I've noticed over the past two summers that the male in particular enjoys feeding from the flowers of red hot poker, so much by Wildman of Pershore

Living Wall
I would like to try and achieve a living wall but growbags will be used during the building of the Permacrib wall and then they will no longer be accessible.  Plants will therefore need to be able to live on very little long term - just regular by Charlie 2
