weather. J.   it is about 3 years old and planted in the border in partial shade and ericaceous compost has been dug in and it has been fed with liquid feed. Have you tried watering it with sequestrene of iron? That might give it a boost. by stevo3

My houseplants have scale - please help!!!
Provado ultimate bug killer as there will be no chance of it affecting bees.  Systemics are taken up by the plant and go into the sap which the scale insects feed on.  It is the only guaranteed way to completely clear a bad infestation. thank you Bob, how by Ligularia

Brussels sprouts
It;s my first attempt at growing Brussels sprouts and they're just not growing.  Should i water & feed them through the winter? Don't feed or water-the rain does that for you and there should be enough goodness in the ground When did you plant by Val8

Which compost?
. in the summer water it well but do not water log it, as a feed use baby bio around once every 10 to 14 days or so. Avoid strong direct sunlight at all times. ( they do not like it ) in the winter reduce watering and stop feeding. Avoid placing the plant anywhere by northchiel

Aftercare of tree lilies
but sheltered border. I have some tree lilies in large pots. They will be fine just like that, at least for a few years. I normally feed occasionally with tomato feed when they are growing. It will prevent the plant from wasting energy if you remove the seed by Jane Heaney

can i plant sprouting doffidil bulbs now?
really. I would chuck them in soil and see what happens Plant them quite deep, they may not flower this year so don't worry if that happens, but feed them and keep them well watered until the leaves die down.  In the wild daffodils are happy in damp by elin reeve

Daffodils and Tulips - what to do as they fade?
, so the energy is diverted back to the bulb for next year. The leaves should, as you say, be left to die down naturally, as that feeds the bulb. Over planting with annuals is a great idea for your space. The pic looks great! Thanks very much figrat, it by LeeSW1
