spring lawn feed via a spreader
Can anyone advise what is a good spring feed for lawns using a spreader?  Our lawn has moss and weed through it so will give it a rake and aerate it first but have no idea what feed is good to use at this time of year. Immediately-do nothing by Gill Lindfield

how to feed an orhcid without keeping it in water??
Hi folks does anyone have advice about how to feed an orchid without KEEPING it wet.  I like to water mine by letting the (saved rain) water drain right though and out at the bottom.  When the drips stop I then put it back in its saucer..... however by Boggy

Feeding poor-soil loving plants in pots?
is not to feed them, but as they are in pots and have been for a couple of years, there really won't be any nutrients left in the soil now so I want to give them a flower/fruit feed.  Any thoughts on whether this is the right thing to do please?  Thanks   Yes by Lunarz

Is it still ok to feed dried fruit to birds bearing in mind the young
I've been feeding dried fruit all through the winter but bearing in mind that they say not to feed whole peanuts I was wondering if it ok to keep feeding the dried fruit cos that is quite big as well.  I tried to chop them up in my food processor by Lavender Lady

is it ok to feed birds ordinary suet rather the prepared bird suet you can buy
I have noticed that it is much cheaper to buy the tesco branded suet rather than buy the prepared suet in the pet shops.  Is this ok to give the birds ?  I feed them dried fruit, oats but always buy the prepared suet.  I seem to be getting through by Lavender Lady
