I had just submitted suggestions for an area of damp shade, when I spotted the advice on the GW newsletter to: Read Pippa Greenwood's bog. Good idea. Ferns are my favourite plant for any shady spot! (Just thought I would throw that out there.) by Danny31

Asparagus
I let my asparagus plants produce ferns a couple of months ago and some of these are now turning brown but I noticed  yesterday that they have started producing new spears. Can I cut these or should they also be left to seed. This has never happened by Janet James

Help me plant these plant pots
think even Box likes some sun. Something that grows about 3ft tall would look good, but I realise that the shaded aspect means I may have to settle for something like Hostas or ferns?  Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks They are lovely pots  I have by LeadFarmer
