evergreen solutions

 - I don't think an azalea will like a hanging basket.  Fushcias sometimes do alright with a bit of shade - otherwise why not try with foliage plants like ferns and ivies? Hallo Steven, I agree with chicky, also, azaleas only flower for a short time by steven doyle

between a shed and a dark place
and nothing else seems to grow...   i have been advised to grow a few ferns there but does anyone else have any suggestions for me...    Look out for some woodland plants (I just searched for exactly that) as they'll not mind shade, not much water or competing by mentalmellor

We've not had to top up our ponds, planting can still continue, fucshias are flourishing, weeds come up easily when pulled, ferns are growing well and all those newly planted spring plants do not need watering in. Just a few more to add to your list by Kim

the alliums are gone, extending the flower power in that spot. I also like them with large ferns, and find they tolerate a bit of shade so long as the ground isn't soggy. Pretty with paeonies and also roses. The world's your oyster really. Thanks for your by Aliesh

there was no sign from them, but by August there was signs that all were still there. The spears were very small and spindly and turned to fern almost immediately. But then we did have a cool summer last year. So don't dispair, they may still be there, but just slow by sally edwards
