Help needed: Trying to identify a flower
, not the top and let the comost get dry before you re-water.  A cyclamen will lose its leaves and look dead after flowering I think we are all in agreement here. ,ha ha And to make it easier to find one, it is Cyclamen persicum too. I would place the pot in a by Hopeful_young_gardener

flowering bergenia
Hi Quite new to gardening and new to this forum - can anyone help please? my bergenia (elephant ear) is in flower now - probably better than in summer! should I do anything with it when the flowers die off or just leave it and hope for the best by Standen1

Does Anyone Know What This Mauve Flowered Plant Is Please?
I wonder if anyone knows what these plants are.  The stems are about 12 inches long with the flowers hanging down in clusters from the top of the stem.  The flowers are starred and lilac.       I'd love to know too, saw this plant today in a by Poppy Red

Geraniums not flowering
Last year I bought 3  small geraniums and put them on my south facing window seat where they put on tremendous growth but never flowered.  I hard pruned them back in march this year as they were getting leggy.  The question is, how can I promote by Lesley 4

No flowers on bergenia
I have bergenia in several places round my garden but they have flowered less and less since we moved here nearly 4 years ago, so far no flowers this year, whereas I noticed lots of flowers on those at the hospital we have just attended by Bouleversee

In flower now
Just looking around my very young garden at whats in flower now and I still have a delphinium in bloom, a shirley poppy, roses, argyranthemum, snap dragons, wild carrot and lavender. I have primroses, wallflowers, winter honeysuckle, pansies by Muvs Dashwood

flowering rhubarb
My daughter has just shown me the rhubarb plant I gave her 2 years ago. It had 5 big stems of flowers on it. I've never seen rhubarb flowering before . My grandad had a huge clump and in all my childhood I never saw a flower on it at all. I by diggingdoris

Mystery flower
Hi, We've scattered a packet of mixed seeds on a patch of garden deisgned to attract insects and this flower has grown.  We have no idea what it is.  The plants have got about 2ft high in places.  The leaves and the steam are hairy and these flowers by FreeZ

onions flowering
Is there any point in leaving my maincrop onions in as they have started to flower? I have picked off the flowers but wonder if they will get any bigger. Some are no larger than when they went in! I could use the space for something else by edzell

Hellebore flowers
Can anyone tell me if they will recover after very strong icy winds  plus all the frosts,  I have (maybe had !) a lovely bed but the flowers don't seem to be recovering at all,  thanks. Mine went the same but the plants will recover, the flowers by Pauline3
