Grass snake in the pond HELP !
, though. Hi flo Bear I am a bit concerned about what my neighbours may be using to deter slugs. There are hollows under my fences where foxes have dug to make a corridor and we had a badger who visited last year. So the garden is dog proof but not hedgehog by Bored with Bindweed !

Horse Manure in a Vegan Garden
concerned with a fox or cat defecating on my vege plot than the applying of a well sourced rotted down manure from a vegan/vegetarian animal feeding the soil. Thanks Kate1123 - i am a medicinal cook so great to see this article. Thanks also Daintiness by gily webber

Help with creating new border
is to layer cardboard & newspaper over the selected area then cover with 4 inches of compost and then 4 inches of mulch. My question is will cats and foxes dig in this 'border' if I leave it for a month or so? I don't want it scattered around the garden by Sue6
