how to cultivate moss where there is grass
and shade for the moss....my lawn is about 40% moss and in those areas violets and fox and cubs thrive.  You'll need to find the right wildflowers for those conditions (perhaps ragged robin and native ferns too), mine just appeared! Thank you.  Still by C15.52

Orange Hawkweed (Hieracium auantiacum)
as it's a wildflower and I really like it.  So do some insects. I guess you could dig up what you have or use weed killer on it. fox and cubs is another name it goes by Grim the Collier is another name and it is a thug. Fortunately in grass, a Lawn by Angel26654

Lady birds
ladybirds in late summer, so the next year you may not see many about in early spring.  It's a cycle many predatory animals go through, known scientifically as Predator-Prey Dynamics (or more commonly "foxes and rabbits".) Quite a few in my garden by paul@chandbrush.plus

My weather forecast has gone!
. The weather front is normally hovering along the coastline, the hills give some idea of the day we will have and to the west we can see almost to the pennines as to what we are about to receive. Our local weather forecaster is well and truly foxed by Insomnia1973
