believe that the loss of songbirds etc is more rightly the fault of human pests than avian! My house backs onto woodland and Magpies and Jays are a welcome sight, cleaning up any leftovers after the Squirrels, rabbits, Foxes, and other birds have finished by suelynmo

tulips
,foxes bats and a whole host of different birds that visit me including jays woodpeckers and a very beautiful sparrowhawk but it was probably the little tiny mice I have seen scurrying around the garden on the odd occasion as they are quite shy by kyra Barnett

Rose "cutting"
water, which has worked previously for me, nothing fancy pants just in water and roots start sprouting. Anyway, the cutting foxed me, it flopped over and looked very sorry for it's self. To try and save the day a bit I decided to stick it in some potting by Moonlit Hare

Advice on garden improvements
shapes have a look on google some good ideas on there, make sure you add drainage in the bottom stones or something. You could buy some cheap seeds wild flower - good ones in 99p shop -sprinkle on and watch them grow or some plants, fox-gloves are nice by LorraineP

to the birds and perhaps say hello to a couple of fellow plot holders.  We have all sorts of wildlife on our lottie site, deer, badgers, foxes, rabbits, moles, mice as well as a variety of birds including some buzzards over the back and, not forgetting by veggiepatch1
