Frogspawn 2013
with an old sheet to keep the frost off. Hi , On my allotment  i have a very small pond  it holds about 5 gallons of water, in the next field there is a real pond with frogs spawn in it , what I would like to do is to get some of the spawn and put in to mine by Daintiness

these to create shallows (5cm deep). This is where frogs will spawn in spring. Choose a sunny site for your pond and inlcude lots of native pond plants - such as marsh marigold, frog bit, hornwort and brooklime. If you do sink the tub - which is fairly easy to do by MrsSpratt

Raising tadpoles in the classroom
in the classroom where the kids can watch frogs growing. There's lots of advice online about growing them indoors but I was wondering where I might get some frog spawn and how we would go about releasing the frogs back to the wild. Any ideas? Our school is based by Fionnuala Coughlan

tranquil place to relax. Since putting the pond in with a lovely trickling waterfall, the frogs that have appeared is quite astonishing. Most nights that i'm in the garden, the lawn always seems to be croaking away and i often here the odd splash from by www.veggies-only.blogspot.com

Bringing a pond back to life... error with 1st post
gain with no pond lining. Both tiers have a lot of over growth and plant debris, though there is still about a foot of murky water throughout. There is currently a family of frogs complete with spawn residing in the pond and a broken pump! I would like by Rebekah Grayson

What is the acceptable range of PH values for a wildlife pond containing frogs, newts etc? A friend of mine established a pond last year. She was told a mid-range pH was the goal - high 6s to mid 7s. Her biggest problem has been keeping the p by John Dunn

tree branch in my pond
can anyone help I would like to encourage frogs and toads into my pond. I have had a pond for about 2 years but never seen a frog or toad anywhere near the pond. The pond is a preformed fibreglass one with very smooth sides so i can only assume by colin tumber

i have just done a wildlife pond on the allotment. i have put some plants in it, it’ss starting to look good now. we have seen a few frogs i put two fish in it to keep the nats down, i have put a lot of plants around it so the wildlife can hide we by Josquine

What animal is this please?
Hi.  Attached are two photos of a hole made in my veggie patch.  What could it be?  I have seen one bee make a solitary hole near by, but it is tiny.  I know I have mice under the garden shed.  Could they have moved?  I have frogs.  Could it be a by Mandy Jones
