Winter Pansies
culprits. Is it mild where you are? The slugs are still active in my garden, but luckily, so are the frogs! Kate I find slugs eating mine all the time and it sounds like them. Go out when it is dark with a torch and pick them off and kill them. by AnnabellaMowbra

I have areas of the garden covered with a jelly like substance.  It is almost like frog spawn but without the eyes.  It is brown/green in colour. It seems to appears most on ground that has not be dug or concrete. What is it and how do I get rid by jonnybabes

i never used my pond pump this winter now the pond is covered in algie how can i get rid of it please I use a stick.  Drag it through the algae then twirl it round and you should get a good clump but watch out for frog spawn!! When you have heaved by joyce mannell

in the pond? Finty You'll need to make sure the edges are accessible and planted as opposed to hard stuff. The frogs, newts, toads. insects and their larvae will just turn up. The edges are hard-stone- and only just been done so no chance of a change but I by finty

them they help you to get rid of the pests in return.me and my husband put in a pond early this year and weve had alot of wildlife in it already and weve got a frog which seems to love it in there .the only thing that upsets the frog is that all by petethegardener

a pond, slightly larger! 14' x 10', full of frogs, newts and other creepy things. It gets so fouled that we really should empty it and start again. This seems an impossible task though. Anyone had similar experience? We would love some advice by Gerry
