Can you grow Quince as a stepover fruit?
prevent growing as a tree or larger espalier I'm afraid ... Thanks for your help ... I think quince are tip-bearing and dont produce many spurs so you probably wouldn't get very much fruit. I think they are usually grown as standards or bush trees. Maybe by Iain 2

strange fruit
I have a Victoria plum minarette, and checking it today I noticed some of the fruit have these clear orbs. I might think it was sap-they come from the point where the fruit attaches, but some had a few arranged almost like they were eggs by jimineyc

Gooseberries - no fruits
I have got two very healthy looking gooseberry bushes in my garden but for the second year they have produced no fruits whatsoever. Any ideas please? Thank you. Have you pruned them at all? I thought the same and started to dig out the bush by thymeandahalf
