Euonymus red cascade

Strawberry mystery
Hi, I’m new to gardening and had some problem with strawberries this year. Perhaps someone can explain what happened... I’ve put black weed suppressant fabric around the plants and covered it with bark. The plants were doing really well and had lots by Alicja

there. If it's sort of joined up translucent globules, sorry terrible descrption, then it could be water retaining gel, especially if you've added to any pot compost that has ended up in the garden. If it's dark brown slime then hedgehog poo an option by Lesley10

Snowdrops
I don't see any slugs, but we do have mice and squirrels in the garden. Could it be either one of these or something else. I understood snowdrops to be toxic and thought nothing would touch them. It could be slugs they will hide during the day by gardengnome2

once over, looking under the leaves,cast your eyes over the soil,you never know what has taken up home there.sometimes birds can take a liking to what may be hiding under leaves, so may be the ones doing the damage. Slugs and snails are the most likely by AnnabellaMowbra

Pruning a neglected cherry tree
We inherited a cherry tree when we moved here but it, as was the rest of the garden, sorely neglected. I have pruned the apple tree but have no idea how to do the cherry. The only thing I know is to do it in the summer. I dont know what type by SilverFairy

Eating my Poppys Grrrrr !
Hi, Can any one help ? Looking round my garden this morning and my small wild poppys that were all in bud ready to flower have vanished, just the buds gone leaving the stalks and leaves as if not touched, looks like you snipped bud of with sciccors by Sair118

i have just joined this site,i am wild about any thing to do with gardening,nature and wildlife,my garden is planted with any thing to attract,bees,butterflies,and birds,yrs ago if i found greenfly i would be annoyed,but now when i see them i think by gail collins

Sparrow
sparrows plenty of other birds though,then after about a  week a sparrow came to it but flew off, then other sparrows, came to the garden, the last we saw of it it was flying about, l do hope it survived as it was so unusual with its white on its wings. How by Dolly11
