Various dead plants
I have a patch in my garden which has seen a number of plants die. The problem seems to have started since I placed a bird bath in the area. There are a number of wood pigeons in the area and they particularly like bathing in this particular bird by Rossett_girl

Benefits of artificial grass for a garden.
and mowing.Artificial turf saves space I would hate to have it, simply because of the impact it would have on the birds and other wildlife in my garden. I couldnt live without seeing the birds loving my lawn  Reported to moderator. Not the first time this one by Precision Greens

Why don't my birds love me any more....?
I have had a bird feeder hanging in my garden for some time now and it has always been very well used by a variety of little birds, who in turn sprinkle enough to keep the ground feeding birds happy too. About a month ago I notice that it was grubby by yvette303

We used to have pigeons perching on the half-door, waiting for food. My mother calls them "flying rats" sometimes. Same problem. I have a 'new' garden and have been very disappointed at the lack of birds wanting to eat from my feeders. We've been by Boabd

Talkback: Death in mysterious circumstances
When I first moved here I purchased a bird bath and table to encourage the birds but have had no visitors because the neighbouring cats love to sit in my garden. So since a cat caught a bird I have disposed of the bird assessories and now enjoy by Janey

Birds
to other birds. Do you have any thoughts or advice? I love feeding our garden birds, but wish they would clear their plates!! I feed them sunflower hearts, which they squabble over enthusiastically. Unfortunately, there is still quite a lot of waste. i have by cowslip2

Talkback: Birds in winter
with no fear. I had a sighting of a Goldcrest in my urban garden last week for the first time in 27 years of living here. It was foraging at the patio door where seeds and other goodies are left out for the birds. Didn't realise how tiny they are. I have by Denise
