Why May?

Make do and mend
climbing frame in the summer for cucumber. I took the thin polycarbonate back and top off, cut them and use them as end pieces for cloches mentioned above. I use my old socks and underwear as bird scarers and...........oops!  I'll get my coat Seriously by artjak

What to do!!
inexpensive, get the birds and hover flies in, some long lasting colour and movement. Try not to get hooked up on a work of art. My garden is 6 years old and still looks a mess but its MY mess and I love it for what it is. Also, lots of plants are remarkably by yvonne parsons2

wonder if wasps also eat the blackfly as our beans are clean this year but we have 2 wasp nests one in a concrete bird box & one in an old dovecote. If I am to continue growing Vegs I must get a way of controlling SLUGS. Would it help if I grew a lot by hereisabee

have leafs...is this true...if so how do i plant them so i can acheive flowers every year,i wish to plant them in my lawn and some in the borders. Yes the Pheasant Eye daffs are great and scented too, however they flower much later and many gardeners by lillylady

Looking for evergreen climber
. Also Trachelospermum jasminoides, these seem to be quite commonly available in garden centres. Trachelospermum jasminoides Clematis armandii for sure, vigorous, lovely white flowers in the New Year and needs very little attention; just make sure you by Hapsen

All year round Wall basket - drought resistant!

plants dying - conifer
into brown wood as it won't recover - leave a layer of green everywhere. Is it a correct season do the trim? They're usually done in late summer to avoid birds' nests, so July-August. Has the gravel been laid recently? It looks like limestone chippings by maggienewgardener
