Mice
They don't do anything beneficial in the garden that I'm aware of, and you certainly won't want them in your greenhouse. Where are they causing a problem? Mice are omnivores so are not keen on any garden pests-in the garden they are a pest by Heidi3

. With her permission it is now in a pot in my garden. Could any tell me what it is please? Thanks, Jean.       Looks like one of impatiens imports, Indian balsam. Which is very invasive, it's seeds shoot out like projectiles, and is a pest especially by jean riley

and sweet green way to fight pests and encorage wildlife.. more of this please. Try putting pots of marigolds in the greenhouse, you'll never have whitefly again. Also mix herbs in with the veg. I was going to have a separate herb garden but now I'll mix by Newcastle

more like a pest than a goody! I also think the adults are attractive but I don't know what the larvae look like, I must find out so that I can tell friend from foe. The lacewings in our garden always head for the childrens playhouse in the winter by Sue Raspin

rapidly. by admission i am a complete beginner in the garden  but i do know that the soil is alkaline. no one has been able to tell me what feed it needs or when etc not even the gardens where it was purchased!(was a very well known gardens) I did have a by newbie2

you a photo Kate, these are photos of red robin,   Milly I am stumped, no sign of pests?? were the roots ok? Sorry. seemed to be ok, i went to another garden centre and they did not think it was vine weevil as the soil around the roots was firm by milly1

victorian garden/cottage garden
Two years ago i had one side of my garden as a cottage garden with lawn and family area, the other side was my veg garden. My wife suggested as veg where so cheap perhaps it could all be a cottage garden. I duly divided all my perenials during by dennis williams

it might be worth you contacting the gc where you bought your rosemary, Brenda, and letting them know they have a potentially serious pest problem? I'm certainly not suggesting any gardener should ignore a pest problem, but after gardening today and finding by Jules63

WASPS!!
in the garden - they eat caterpillars, flies and beetles, many of which are usually regarded as pests. However there's a great product called the Waspinator, which you hang in your garden to deter wasps from entering. It looks like a wasp nest so, being by moonchild1984
