Talkback: A hectic day at Gardeners' World Live
mentioned crushed oyster shells for protection of plants against slugs, does anyone know where to get these from? I keep feeding them lupins and poppies and would love these plants to flower at least once a year! As a novis gardener i have grown some by ben middlemiss 14

Why are stag beetles considered to be beneficial insects? Do they help gardeners? The good thing about entomology is that you can pop a bug into almost anything. When working with children I use my accumulating supply of empty plastic pots that once by budding entomologist

Bamboo taking over the world.... Okay, garden.
made a start at this, and what hard work it is! Those pesky rhizomes get everywhere.I like the bamboo in the garden as it gives privacy over the top of the fence, but I would like to control it. I was wondering whether I can use some kind of planter by Loz46

/forum regularly have been logging in daily all through the winter months and eagerly awaiting something to watch and even though its grey and cold it has brought a little sunshine.  I always enjoy Gardener's World even if it's about the sort of gardening by JANAPANA

Agree with susan16pen about trees - shade, roots etc present a challenge to small gardens. Nice selection of plants but it would be really good to see some examples of small gardens with them in situ. Very disappointed with this article. Surely by akebia

was thinking the very same thought just the other day! Me too! Maybe this is one for the Insiders group. I know RHS produce an Index for their monthly mag "The Garden".  This is something we need for Gardening World. In the mean time you could cut out all by CharlieNI
