Talkback: Gooseberry mildew
I found one mouldy gooseberry and a little mould on one leaf of each of my two new plants. I took these off straight away. Do you think I still need to cut off the WHOLE branch on both, and should I plant them far apart to stop it spreading? I dont by casgarden

to bare fruit but on on of the bushes the fruit is covered with some sort of white mildew. Can anyone offer any advice on what I should do? I planted a gooseberry bushes in March this year and now got some berries on but how do I know when they are ready by Christine Williams

, not the developing courgette! Use some advanced nutrients :) iv tried spraying milk on my mildew infested gooseberries and it worked a treat. just diluted, 1part milk to roughly 9parts water, 2applications in a week seemed to clear it right up.easy Can I grow Broad by Linda Salfiti-Hoult

currents did well. But my gooseberries had mildew I believe it's called American mildew.been having the same problem with plums just as they are getting ripe the wasps bore into them.John. I am having terrible trouble with wasps attacking my pears by jollysue
