Lupins destroyed by greenfly
, there they are again the next day.  I bought a load of ladybirds, which all promptly flew away (home I guess ), and now my lupins are all dead looking, with grey/black foliage and very floppy.  Any greens bits are still smothered with greenfly.  Do you think by Lunarz

Aphids on seedlings
I am raising some Geums from seed - they are currently about 3" tall and are in 3" pots on a windowsill.  Somehow they have got greenfly.  I pick the greenfly off every day and squash them, but they come back very fast.  Is there anything else I can by Laura Corin

I simply don't believe it
Have just got back home from a week working away and was pleased to see a large yellow rose bush in bud; I looked closer and saw the buds were covered in greenfly. Greenfly on November 17th, is that normal? I was quite surprised to see a butterfly by artjak

Holes in the leaves of my cherry blossom tree
Hi.  I have a number of small holes (2mm approx) in the leaves of my weeping cherry blossom.  I can see no pests other than a few greenfly, but am wondering whether it could be ants.  Also the tree is generally not looking healthy - many branches by Mustang Sally

What plant is this?
Hi all I'm very new to gardening and have no idea what this could be. But there seem to be a lot of ants liking the purple buds on it?   Thanks Looks like a peony if I turn my head to the left. Have a look for greenfly which the ants may be farming by Sazac
