a pot grown one hidden away in an unseated greenhouse work or am I destined to do without . I always lose them eventually, except one. It's a deciduous one called "Gloire de Versailles". It looked dead last year after we'd had snow and -17° so OH by bunnysgarden

Fig tree pests

Grafted Tomato Plants!
not produce so well, they were in a smaller pot so perhaps that was my fault, the fruit were not large, neither was the plant compared to ones I have seen growing in South Africa. I might try a grafted tomato in the greenhouse this year, the last 2 years have by JIMMMY

New deliveries
' bins was cooked and could empty it out on to the veg bed. Then cleaning the greenhouse and washing of pots. Sounds tedious but I really enjoy it. A blackbird serenaded me very loudly; it doesn't get any better than that I've got a bin full of compost by BobTheGardener

I ca't get Lilly of the valley to grow!
'll have to copy and paste link.I'm trying again this year with some clumps from a friend's garden, some are in the shady Borders and I'm also experimenting with forcing some in pots in the greenhouse. I bought my lily of the valley from poundland as a bare by RN58RAN

Rose cutting putting out new growth which dies
up too and then I heated it for an afternoon! I've put it out in the greenhouse where it's quite cool. Do you think it will recover or is it doomed? Anything i can di to help it? I've only had to water it once - just as I noticed the leaves wilting by kribon

Apple Tree Help needed
big pot (I'm thinking of one of those trug type things), and cover it with fleece, and put it outside?  The rest of my fruit trees are still dormant, no buds, so I really don't want to put it outside if it will die.  I don't have a greenhouse, so by Mummy Muddy Paws

Feeling good

Honeysuckle not made it through frosts ...
they were totally hardy I had one that I tore out of the ground as it was still attached to the meshing that I had it climbing up, it spent the winter in behind the greenhouse, dangling in the air, rootball and all.   I went to dispose of it a couple by Becky P
