feature shrubs (evergreen)
with ground cover plants around them. I would prefer evergrens about 1 metre high and same spread. The beds are exposed to the elements, although in Drevon we are fortunate not to suffer harsh weather conditions very often. I already have the 'run of the mill by Honeys Uncle

Trying to identify a geranium
Dear all, i have seen a geranium which is popular as ground cover. It's low to the ground spread like a weed, the flowers are a pinkish purple and the leaves light mid green. I keep buying geraniums in the hope that I've got the right one by Rampant climber

Plants around a pond advice
Hello, Do any of you have any ideas for a low growing ground cover plant located around a pond? We'll need a bit more information - is the soil damp and boggy or is this a dry area? How much sun/shade does the area get?   What else do you have by martin longhurst

Digging problem

Clearing a large area of Ground Elder
the job, though ground elder is quite difficult to eradicate. I'm interested to see that you're hoping to turn it into a wild area... ground elder and nettles are pretty wild already. Nettles in particular are fantastic for ladybirds, butterflies and moths by Rose7

Ground Elder
My garden is covered in ground elder which I have been trying to tackle by digging over, removing as much as possible and spraying with weedkiller for over a year now.  I want to lay a new lawn. Is there a membrane I can use under the new turf by Glassgirl
