Cats!!!
was cheap wooden skewers for cooking I broke them in half so they had nice splintered tips and put them in the ground as spikes. I put them through my cat mint which was permanently flattened.I had to use them round my veg in my raised beds too. Cats love by Bee friendly

overgrown border
is edged on one long side and one short side by a mix of fuchsia, mock orange, elder and cotoneaster. I would like to decongest the border without destroying it's charm but don't know where or when to begin! The added problem is that the entire bed by nightgarden

bases.All have come through several frosty Nottingham winters with no protection, on clay soil. The only thing I want to lift at the moment is the flipping ground Elder that has encroached from my neighbours garden and the millions of other weeds by chilipops

the blighters attack me, so I bruise and rub ground elder leaves or mint and rub that everywhere exposed. Less of a problem then.  We are in south yorkshire and get our share when it is warm and damp also in the evenings when it has even been dry and sunny by weejenny

. They loved cow parsley but cow mumble was a different plant, also eaten by by the rabbits, but not as popular. I wonder if I would be allowed to wonder the fields and hedgerows - alone- now. Besides dandelions my rabbits also like ground elder, bindweed, dock by HappyMouffetard
