What am I ?
and groundsel and chickweed and grass growing where I don't want it.  Sorry Joe didn't mean to sound pompous, I was just pointing out that scientific names can be useful. This is also known as Pussy Willow, which is what I know it as.  Rubur was a typo btw by Jimmar

Nettles
and tending and they'll be easy enough to keep cleared - easier than groundsel and bittercress and creeping buttercups and thistles and couch grass which are also a constant feature in my garden no matter how often I weed and hoe. I too try to be as organic by Wendy8

My drive
too long to work and doesn't last long enough, I have got a flame thrower but again doesn't stop the weeds coming up, the problem is there is an open gated field dead opposite my drive and weed seeds are constantly being blown across the road Groundsel by c.cross

Talkback: Jersey Tiger moths
of the cinnabar moth this year in their striped ruby jerseys. I thought they had a very specific food source (was it ragwort or groundsel?)but this year they have been on everything. Not doing any apparent damage, and I wouldn't deliberately get rid of them by Richard Jones

HELP !!!!!what about ground cover plants- does it work?
feet and it definitely covered the ground. I only managed to remove a 2 gallon ucket of weeds from within it. Dandelions, goosegrass, groundsel, poppers, an annual grass and ragged robin, plus the usual for this garden Ash tree seedlings. tp name but a by lucky3

Bad service, bad plants beware!
with the plants from J Parker. I ordered two packs of the cheap and cheerful offers which would apparently would fill my borders with colour.   Some of the plants did just about come through and I'm sure if I had planted the pots of groundsel and nettles by twirly
