Need help/advice for taking and growing cuttings of neighbours acer tree please
Hi all  My neighbour has the most beautiful acer tree in her garden, she could not remeber the name but after lots of research i found it was a full moon acer, anyway, she has said i can get some curtings to try and grow my own tree But i want by davielovesgravy

Pruning acers
I have a snake bark maple that has a bole diameter of about 8" also an Acer Brilliantissima with a bole diameter of over 12", both of which are growing too large for their site. Is it safe to prune them back? I would need to cut back about three by Jimeva

Advice on an acer palmatum
foliage plant cotinus royal,purple is unbeatable.Easy to grow. Looks beautiful. Easily controlled by pruning.Gardener bee check out this as an alternative don't really agree with all the above, sorry peeps but have strong evidence to suggest Acers can by gardener bee

Acre flamingo
the pink willow, the japanese one....won't use it's correct name. I lightly remove any dead wood in spring to healthy shoots. Currently it looks just like my Acer Flamingo colour wise. I grow agastache sangria and deschampsia with it and both by John Reynolds

Flowering tree for shady spot
metres spread.  Soil type neutral/acid and dryish.  Have looked at some Cercis and Prunus types but all seem to need full sun. Rhododendrum grow well in shade, and like acid soil! Acer? white,black or red spruce, magnolia grandiflora, red mulberry, acers by Nicky H

Hi I have few plants to be put in new pots. I am thinking of using  Miracle-Gro  Levington  Verve john innes I check up on  Miracle grow not many people had good luck with it? I Dont have time to make my own compost.so i will have to buy.  plants i by David Rostron

Autumn Colour
Hi everyone. I thought you might be interested how much the foliage of my Acer Palmatum has changed during the past few days. Do you grow this type of Acer?. I would be interested to see any photos you have or any other Autumn colour would be good by lovetogarden

? Dying Acer
I believe that is the correct name.  It has been growing quite happily for the last three years in it's shady spot in my garden - adequate light - but now it looks as though it has died - only two healthy leaves the rest are shrivelled and brown by JXP

Acer problems
The top leaves on my acer are losing colour and browing at the edges.  Is it infected with something or is it due to weather - too windy?  too sunny?  The leaves bwlow the top ones are growing fine and nice and green.  Its in the pot below which has by Trucker
