Potatoes

dwarf apple tree
Hi.  Could anyone please tell me how and when to prune my dwarf apple tree?  it is a double variety grafted onto a rootstock and is now in it's 4th year.  Last year, it produced hardly any blossom or fruit and the fruit it did produce was very small by jessiebelle

Can I ask what the best apple tree is for growing on an allotment. I don't want an enormous tree that takes over the entire plot however I would like a good crop. i think I will probably try an espalliare ( if thats spelt right) but really don by Blocked drains

Pepino Melon help
I'm growing 3 pepino melon plants in the greenhouse. They are doing well and I have quite a few fruit now ranging from very small to the biggest which is around a large cooking apple size. One problem is that I didn't have them tied up as the stems by Daisy Cottage

Old fashioned fruit trees
Does anybody know where I can buy old fashioned fruit trees that will grow to the size I remember when I was young. Our cherry trees must have been at least 30foot tall and were an amazing site in the spring. All I can find are the dwarf or semi by Jean Willis
