Say NO to slug food.
/alternatives that slugs hate?  I have day lilies, echinacea, rudbeckia and agastache.  But I would love to replace the heleniums, achilleas and asters that will not make it again this year. All suggestions will be gratefully received. Amanda, plants I like and grow too by Amanda Livingstone

Hi everyone, just am in the middle of having my garden relandscaped and am having 3 large raised beds built out of brick to protect any crop from my dogs.  The plan is to plant out properly next year, probably growing veg in at least 2 of them.  I by Roisin Finn

Saint or sinner?.....don't like annuals
.  Apart from veg, nearly everything in my garden is a perennial with the majority grown from seed (which can be a bit challenging, but I like that aspect!)  I do grow a few annuals, but mostly for fragrance and to plant-up a few containers and baskets by Verdun

Panicum virgatum 'Hanse Herms' German speaker needed
good watering in yesterday and I put it inside this morning. It had to come out of the soil to make way for new drains otherwise I would have left it alone. I've hacked around at some asters and chrysanths, I ran out of pots that were big enough by nutcutlet
