Banana Plant Problem
Hi I have recently bought a young banana Plant which I am growing ina pot But the problem is I think it is dying, since the leaves are turning brown and falling off. It seems to be affecting the new growth as well. Has anybody had this problem by Petew

Banana Plant Problem
My Wife and I bought a Banana Plant Late last year and as expected it started to die off during the winter.We wrapped it up and this year it has started to grow, the main shoot is green. However, the main shoot just recently has started to go brown by Petew

growing before they have to combat the army of slugs and other pests in my garden. I too love growing shallots. The red banana- shaped shallots look beautiful enough to grow in a flowerbed and grow as big as onions do for me. i have none left as I use by Chantal

it big time so what I do is at the end of the growing season I spray the roses with Rose Clear and put some BFB done and dig it in remove all the dead leaves and bury a banana skin by the roots to give them extra potassium then leave them till Spring,  so by Kitty Jingga

Exotic Seed Germination Advice

Tomatoes - pinching out
the growing tips isn't going to make a lot of difference. Any more fruit that sets won't have time to mature and the existing fruit that is starting to ripen needs nothing more than warm temperatures. ok cool. well, if the forecast is right and it'll be warm by Bf206

There are so may exotic fruit & veg in our supermarkets these days, and I assume may posters here have a go at cultivation from the seeds.... no matter how unlikely the outcome! I've succeeded (without any great skill) in growing some Dragon fruit by paull2
