there several reason for your growing problem in you green house.1. you pot size probally to small beefsteaks need at least a pot size of a half meter or greater.2. you soil is not in right ballance3. you are watering irregularly4. gardener delight by Anonymous

Talkback: Preparing gardens for spring
has given them all the encouragement they need to grow ! So I've been out weeding - it is a relentless task but I found them easier to extract with the soil being that much softer. It also stops them getting a head start on everything else. Enjoyed by Flowers

is this correcct or can you suggest something better. Hi Adam - I use copper tape around the top of my raised beds and it seems to work - I also use a beer trap as a back up just in case - inevitably the grass grows up the side of the beds or a stem overhangs by glenysbright

fungicide! I have stripped off most of the leaves but fruit already affected on several plants. No longer grow them outside -not worth the bother. In counryside 12 miles outside Southampton. I have grown my tomatos outside this year as I did have great by Chilipops
