the colour as well.    My fave rave at the moment is Daphne bholua 'Jaqueline Postill', beloved by Roy Davison. It's a slow growing semi-evergreen that will get to 6ft. They are devilishly expensive (£30-60) but will reward you for weeks with their waxy very by David Hurrion

, let it cool, painted it on and for the first time all year my fig plant and my medler and my wisteria actualy got to grow and photosynthasis from the leaves that they sprouted. Powder is, I think at least, easier to use than lots of cloves of fresh by Daniel Haynes

1st ever greenhouse!
to do another one. My first was a zip up little tent, then one became two now have a small greenhouse though (given by work colleague couple years ago) , I use for potting up and taking cuttings, have grown toms, cucumber , basil, salads , flowers by Tilley Bancroft

Talkback: Dealing with slugs and snails
lovely basil & sage leaves a lot! We had a slug come into our kitchen. No sign of a track to tell us where he'd sneaked in. Threw him into the garden and some weeks later, he reappeared. This happened several times. In the end I tipped him into a plastic by Sophie33
