Talkback: Planting seeds and germination
should be done with them and when should i re-plant them. I have always thought if you grow with out heat that means you only have rays of sun to warm the plants? You do not burn gas or any other fuel to stop the plants from frezeing, though 4c might by asparagus

help? Things to plant now are broad beans and peas (but not mangetout yet). Also beetroot, parsnip and early carrot varieties can go in now. Shallots, onions sets and garlic can go in now (last chance now for garlic as normally they go in in the spring by super mum

but loving it. New to this veg growing, turned some of the garden over to veg this year and have been very pleased. Beans runner & french great, beetroot, carrot, lettuce, radish, spring onion, garlic and then potatoes in buckets & was extremely pleased by S lambert

allomentt said its because of the rain,,,this is our 1st year of growing our own and my it is hard work but now so worth it,everyone is doing there harvest,rasberries still doing well,next year might try different tomatoes to grow and see which ones grow by HelenReeley
