Begonia Corms
Despite my advance years I am a novice gardener.  I am advised to lift my begonias, wait for the foliage to die, remove the excess earth, sprinkle with BULB DUST, wrap individually and store in a cool dry place until next spring. What is BULB DUST by Carol Thomas

Shaded Border
some brighter summer colour along this fence.   I would like low growing stuff as it also borders a path.    I am quite fond of fuchsia, and wondered about the hardy dwarf shrubs.  Any advice and any ideas please would be welcome. Fuschia will do well by Novice23

weedy neglected patch of a town garden
weeds. Plant month Later. Does the pear tree cast much shade? A lot of annuals prefer to grow in sun. Busy-Lizzies (Impatiens) and bedding begonias are OK with shade. They are quite slow to grow from seed so probably best to buy small plants and plant by Dusty bluebells

Daffodils and Tulips - what to do as they fade?
't remain empty and hoped they would grow through as the foilage grows back, any advice appreciated from seasoned bulb growers many thanks.   Yup, you've got it spot on. Deadhead the bulbs/ cut off any flowers for indoors. This prevents them setting seed by LeeSW1

fence planting
they must be readily available; the problem is finding the right name for them. You could try variations on hanging planters/ plastic wall mounted planters etc. I have seen them richly planted with cascading begonias. It would not suit my garden by clogherhead

Hanging/trailing plants in full shade - any advice?
: http://www.crocus.co.uk/plants/_/perennials/classid.2000002824/    Hope this helps The classic summer bedding plant with bright flowers that grows in shade is the Busy-Lizzie (Impatiens). You can grow it in containers. Have a look on "Google". The other bright flower for pots in semi-shade is Begonia. You by Hogroast2
