Sizzling Summer Plant Deal
it to be bigger than something that could have been grown at home.  At least some of the DIY stores have offers on bedding plants now, so you may be able to get some bargains this year, and grow on your microscopic begonias for next year!  Have you tried some by pash2

Identify these anyone?
a leaf with some on, then put it in a jar of water with cotton wool or similar around the neck of the jar to stop them falling in. Enclose the whole lot in a plastic bag with small holes for ventilation. Wait and see what grows. Fascinating! Hi jude5 by yarrow2

Egg identification - any ideas?
When I was planting some flowers that I got at the weekend (from a garden centre) I noticed some little eggs in the soil. The 'shell' was crispy so to speak and had white liquid inside This is in the begonias but also found in an old bag of compost by Amy-new-at-this

Flowers we don't like?
, the pom-pom ones look fake to me, but the ones I have seen growing all year round in Barbados look great. I always think begonias look plastic so really don't like them.   Most busy lizzies too. Ooh, I don't think busy lizzy is going to like being called by artjak

New to gardening-need help!
still have planted-up hanging baskets for sale - those would brighten up your yard immediately. You will may also find that they still have fuchsias and begonias, which can both grow in tubs for the summer; they are also likely to have Shasta daisies by fabulousemmalina
