later. My Melianthus has lost its leaves but the stems are ok. I ave bubble wrap round the pot and a cardboard box over the top growth. Not pretty, but it works! Thanks to mjohn345 for his tip on heating a greenhouse with two terracotta pots and chunky by funkyjunkie23

!http://higgysgardenproject.blogspot.com/ I have had lots of ladybirds i put a bug box up last year, around Feb and March this year i saw some of them sunbathing and they had Seven spots i was pleased to see. Unfortunately i found a wasps nest in a bag of compost near the House so i have had by Murray Fortescue

Talkback: Cherries, plums and gages
have all been picked and are sweet and juicy and there is a good crop on the very old plum trees which get great bunches of smaller plums which are good for freezing for the winter. This week I am finishing (with ice-cream) the last box from last year by Hazel

Astrantias not flowering
others. Strange things afoot in the garden this year , had a clematis that came back from the dead and have some oddities growing. Maybe all the rain . My plants are a mixture of 4 year old and newish plants so don't feel splitting is the problem by christopher2

but spent so much money to no avail......the only way i have found to prevent green algae is to use the straw bales.have just introduced the first one for spring. tried barley straw made no differance fitted uv sterilizer between the pump and filter box by Oz

the a garden to protect areas mainly from foxes - protecting the patio from being fouled, young seedlings I have planted out, newly planted bulbs etc. My mum uses hers to scare off herons from her pond. I have no deer but deer are listed on the box so by Bee friendly
