Talkback: Growing and harvesting broad beans
I must have a go at growing them next year. Can some be sown in the autumn to produce earlier crops? Growing Broad Beans in my garden is slightly traumatic as the resident Jackdaws will pull up the young seedlings and eat the seed bean, and when by hazeydays

Fine Green beans in the shops
My missus loves these, so I want to grow them, what are they? Are they dwarf french beans or? Some I've seen in catalogues include Climbing bean Cobra and also dwarf bean Delinel. I only grow runners, despise broad beans, so am at a bit of a loss by BrummieBen

worms eating my beans??
happened so quickly and also surely the outer shell would remain?? Still convinced its worms?? Mange-tout and broad beans are hardier veg. French beans need warmth and moisture to germinate and grow properly-if they don't get it the beans will just rot way by tina brown
