Talkback: Pea and bean weevils
struggles going on in my food plot ! I find that there is really NOTHING I can do about pests. If I want organic garden produce, then I find that one for me and three for them is the casualty rate. My broad beans have been nibbled severely for at least by penelope6

Talkback: Cabbage white caterpillars
be useful Over the years I've tried everything to keep the cabbage white off my Brassicas without success. So I've given up with brassicas and concentrate on more rewarding crops like potatoes, broad beans, runner beans, onoins, garlic, peas, sweet corn by j.simpson

Talkback: Wet weather on the veg plot
germinated very late as it was so cool, they seem to be making up for this and have been romping away although I think that I will be harvesting them very late this year. Happy growing everyone. I have mouldy strawberries, chocolate spot on the broad beans by YewJay

Talkback: Growing cress
how my saucerful was growing on the classroom windowsill so have always loved it. Children love to grow a broad bean as well and sprout a carrot top. I am sure there must be lots more ways to get them interested, probably being able to eat something by Hum
