Brocoli flowering & catapillars on fruit and veg.
I am quite a novice gardener but I really enjoy learning so any help will be really helpful. Problems I have encountered this growing season are my brocoli has been growing ok but can't stop it flowering,should I cut each flowering head off or any by Gerry5

Windowsill propogation

Brocolli and other brassicas
 frozen is going to stay at £1.25 per kilo given that there is bound to be a shortage. Might try it though.  Cheers I don't know how easy, or difficult, it is to grow broccoli from seed. If you saw Monty Don on Gardeners World last Friday, you'll have seen that his by Madeleine51

repositioning brocolli
Hi, I have two puple sprouting broccoli plants that are about a foot and a half tall each. They are the only two survivors in a raised bed. I would like to dig them up and move them to a different part of the allotment to free up the space. Does by Greg2

Talkback: Growing brassicas
for keeping them out. I am growing broccoli, peas, sprouts, carrots & lettuce - they are all in pots of varying sizes and so far they are all healthy with not a slug in sight - though I have put copper tape round the pots to deter them. Heligan Gardens by Eve from Westerham Kent

My Potatoes looked fantastic but never did flower and have no potatoes on them not even small ones can you tell me why.I did plant them in new soil that I bought by the lorry load by the way I live in Spain and I am growing them under cover. Can you by john lawson

Last summer I tried to grow carrots for the first time. I grew them in a large plant pot on the path, they grew to about finger size and then something upturned the pot and ate them but left their tops. Could it have been a badger as the pot was too by Karl W

Purple sprouting broc - should I have some by now?
I bought some small purple sprouting broc plants last September and followed a novel idea of planting them in grow bags in the greenhouse (maybe from a GW mag?). Anyway, they look lovely and are very leafy, but as yet no heads. Should I by lindsay2610

What should I do now with my broccoli?
