What should I do now with my broccoli?

Squash plant and mine is getting eaten too, but there is NOTHING to suggest caterpillars/slugs/snails. As a few of my plants have been being attacked to the point that there is nothing left (Broccoli, strawberries, and a few others too) all the same by heather gent

VISITS EVERY OTHER WEEK. I planted some white broccoli late autumn/ early last winter, they haven't given me any broccoli. Should i scrap it now? I'm not sure if the spot was too shady over winter, it was very slow to grow but since spring has developed by Maaike

can you have too much night
of sanday just north of orkney, I have tried talking to some of the people I have met but most don't have a poly-tunnel so because of the regular bouts of wind stick to growing potatoes leeks cabbage carrots cauliflower broccoli. I brought with me a 60 foot by natures grafter

Turnip Root Worm

small veg patch
my patch is 12ft x 18 ft n/ s facing well sheltered on the chester wales border i would like some ideas on a year plan to maximise use of this space the only thing i will not grow is beetroot (hate the stuff) anything else will give it a go many by osso

that the scaterpillars leave gets eaten by the pigeons.  its hard when you want to grow what you like, as the cabbages etc, but wont because of the hassle.. Oh no, I'm just about to try cabbage and purple sprouting broccoli, wish me luck rosie plum, I like your idea, my by southwickman

commenthehehe  This is my second year of veg growing. I grew broccoli, swede, sprouts and kale from seed for the first time. The broccoli grew well but became very tall. Is this 'Bolting'? Also the heads were very small and went to seed /flower very quickly. Did by flamingkaty
