StrongWeedkiller needed for Valarian and Buddlea bee friendly ?
This does not make sense, if you want to be bee friendly just pull it out by hand or chop it down? Sometimes buddleia and valerian grow out of walls, so it's very difficult to eradicate them by hand. by May2

when should I prune Buddleia ?
late flowering shrubs in late winter/early spring. My old buddleia gets pruned all the time.  It grows over the garden wall onto the pavement so have to keep it trimmed back.  It never seems to mind and has always had tons of flowers. by wandering

to prune or not to prune
i bought a couple of 'blue chip' dwarf buddleias last year but the planting instructions didn't say whether to prune or not to maintain their shape and promote flowers.  advice please! I've just pruned my dwarf buddleias for the 3rd year in a row by gardeners delight
