Buddleia turning yellow
I moved a large old buddleia 2 years ago. It was doing well, but last year it did not flower, the leaves turned yellow and it didn't grow much. This year it hasn't grown much again, no flowering visible and a hard yellow canker of some kind covering by Freebie Queen

,a skipper,a little blue one and a brown butterfly .We use to have masses of butterflies on the buddleia but now even when things are good I am lucky to see more than one of each species.I try to grow things they like and a few weeds in spare bit by oldchippy

Hefty buddleia and small rose bush
Wonderful weather but time moves on! Please can someone kindly tell me how to decrease the height and garth of my wonderful buddleia davidi that has outgrown its space? I actually have three and they have become like small trees. There is thick by keennovicecam

, and those you leave alone and perhaps the reasons why, if any I will chop my sedums. I find they do not look good when they flop over and the stems break easily  and I like to make new plants with the cuttings. I used to do it with buddleia, resulting in by Wintersong

and see of it is worth the postage, in this case £5.60. Buddleias grow fast, so I will prob get some, since you have to have an original one before you can take cuttings yourself. Ask around GG or put your request on the seed swap, buddleias grow wild by joyce mannell

How to plant a triangular border?
and Stacy lots of bees and butterflies etc. I guess it's a windy site. Is it in sun? Shade? How big? So far, a rich purple buddleia springs to mind cos that grows most anywhere if there's sun. I'm sure we can all chip in with ideas but need bit more info by clarerees

Evergreen fast growing shrubs
. Buddleias are not evergreen but they usually hold on to their leaves for the autumn and they have woody framework. Very fast growing plus flowers.I like Lonicera nitida Baggesons Gold....lovely olive leaves with bright yellow new growth. Easy to,control n by Neil Mumford

shrub suggestions
to think about the height you want them to grow, colours, where your sun/shade is. then sit down with some garden catalogues/books and browse and decide what would suit you. There are loads of shrubs that attarct the bisrd and the bees. Bjay Sedums by Bill Mansfield
