and red banaha shallots are beautiful. Personally I can't see why anyone would want to devote time, space and cost to growing such tiny mini-cobs when for the same time and space they could enjoy delicious full-sized sweetcorn. What is the point of baby by Pixley

Can you help me.............
I have a strip of garden I propose growing potato plants....I am not sure wether I can have 2 rows or one....what is the best distance between rows???? Also I have dug up a patch of 12 cabbage plants, what is the best veg to plant in the same place by Brian Williams

Cauli, sprouts and cabbages

growing lettuce? RE; Kelly lamb i wouldn't recommend leaving your carrots uncovered until the frost has definitely past, they're tough cookies but not that tough. Also the lettuce you can sow any time depending on the variety buy heat resistant lettuce by Christine

discoloured cauliflower leaves
they been planted out?  If fairly recently I would expect that they are just adjusting to their new situation. However, cabbage root fly infestations can cause discolouring of leaves, as can club root infections - and this wet season would be a classic by joanna macdonald

Leggy broad bean plants
before planting out in the veg plot.  Would they grow up from the bottom or should I just stake them as they are?  Advice please (I am very much a 'novice' veg grower but am really trying to extend my range.  Had some success with cabbages and sprouts by Poppy's Mum

sowing seeds in unheated greenhouse
Hi i have a unheated greenhouse if i start so some seeds of in the next week would they be ok the seeds i was thinking about starting is cabbage,spourts,caulie lettuce,broccil,leeks i know it will be to cold for toms and cucumbers. many thanks All by shaunandnicola

I have a dog and have been told that the tree lillies I am growing are poisonous is this true. My sweet peas have been covered in pollen beetles and no amount of shaking gets rid of them is there anything i can spray them with ? The best way really by Sweet pea
