Marigolds in the veg patch
and carrots need to be apart and I grow shallots or onions as a shield for parsley "carrot" fly.   Fill ice cube trays with water, push a borage flower into each cube, put in ice box. Simples! Ecky thump.  We Cornish simpletons would never have thought by Verdun

Brocolli and other brassicas

In flower now
Just looking around my very young garden at whats in flower now and I still have a delphinium in bloom, a shirley poppy, roses, argyranthemum, snap dragons, wild carrot and lavender. I have primroses, wallflowers, winter honeysuckle, pansies by Muvs Dashwood

can any one tell me the best type of raspberries, and also how to grow them  Autunm Bliss is a nice one, quite easy to look after just give it a good bit of space plently of sun and good living and it fruits on this years wood so just cut back by Joe the Gardener

Pesky mushrooms...
Hello! Does anyone know if mushrooms will be doing harm to my strawberies, carrot seedlings, radish and spring onions? I think they must have sprouted from the compost I used (arthur bowers).  There are loads of them and they have really long stems by Tootles
