carrots
in an old bath on the allotment, it was so successful that I have now acquired 2 more baths. The
carrot
fly can't fly high enough to get into the bath.It is so great

Green manure- caliente mustard good for carrot root fly?
it certainly wouldn't hurt to try; and green manure is said to be almost as good as the real thing. I really want to know how long it takes to
grow
to the stage you can dig it in? And does anyone have any comments about the use to get rid of the
carrot
root

how to not attract carrot fly when thinning
crop without fleece? I sow thinly in 6 inch wide rows, then don't have to thin the seedlings. I also
grow
them between rows of onions, the smell of which may confuse/deter
carrot
fly. No fleece is used. There is usually a small amount of
carrot
fly

At wits end with carrots and slugs
is that the 3 years previously I grew fab
carrots
with no issues. Mr hedgehog wasn't resident then. I do
grow
some in pots but it's not the same. Thank you. To be honest with you, I surround my
carrots
with net, just high enough so I can get my legs over
