Anyone oop North started planting yet ?

Brocolli and other brassicas
I went to the supermarket today to buy some brocolli to put with a nearly bolting piece of cauliflower from the garden to make at broc & cauli cheese for lunch. All my brassicas have been loose and quick to bolt as I believe has been the case by Madeleine51

that i couldnt grow veg all around it as it wouldn't look right(by the other half!). My solution has been to choose vegetables that have different coloured stems, flowers and or pods. I have 5 large wigwams different varieties of beans that are begining by abbed

One very happy Birthday Girl:))))
Oh WOW! I'm a happy woman today....hubby got me the perfect birthday pressies.....a greenhouse heater, a potting bench, tray etc.,  and a beautiful rose bush  (now he's either encouraging me to keep growing and listened to me oohing and ahhing over by The Manic Slughunter:)
