Flowering tree for shady spot
Any suggestions please for a flowering tree (cherry type or similar) for a shady spot?  We have a lightly wooded area at the back of our garden (beyond our fence) and would like to plant a specimen tree in front of it.  Max height about 8 metres x 5 by Nicky H

Morello cherry cordon
I have recently bought a morello cherry, on colt rootstock. I would like to train it against a North East facing wall, however the wall it would be against is the back of my neighbours kitchen wall and he would like reassurance by Helen White

What fruit veg could i plant in a shady garden(peas, strawberries)?
. Cherry tomato type usually smaller plants. Rhubarb. Lettuce fine in part shade so worth a try. Goes well in cotainers as less slug damage! Hope this helps... thanks for the help ! My garden faces north-east so I only get some sun at an angle for part by jpharro

Silver birch replacement
to be slightly happier.  I have removed one dead tree and am about to remove the other. Does anyone have any recommendations for replacements?  I was thinking of putting three columnar prunus amanogawa (Japanese cherry) trees in place of the trees behind by TimM

Suggestions for a South-facing wall
good and when it gets to a decent size there should be plenty to share with the birds.   However I think the idea of training one to grow and fruit above your wall will require a stout framework to support it and I wonder if having cherries dangling by Hogroast2

Cherry Blossom
Hi I have recently renovated a house and am now moving onto the garden which has become very overgrown and is quite a daunting task. I have quite an old cherry blossom maybe 20 years old which has never really been pruned. It has grown really tall by cd26
