Talkback: Overwintering chillies
grow chillies and have successfully overwintered them once but the crop dropped by 80% so not sure it is worth it.If any of you out there are into home made ice cream, adding chillies to vanilla is fine, but if you add some chopped 80% cocoa solid by Mandy

Chilli plants
My indoor chilli plants get covered in white sticky stuff. what is it, how can I prevent it and once I've got it how can it be treated without making the chillis indeible? I'm sorry but I can't do links on my phone but if you google RHS and mealybug by sallyat6

De Cayenne chilli

Help with sunburnt chilli plants
Hi,    Just tried to rescue my chilli seedlings from our Mini-Greenhouse, and they look pretty shrivelled! I have moved them into the cool darkness of the garage and given them a good spraying of water to rehydrate them. Anyone know if they may by Huntertony

the last three years). We really are spoilt for choice, with the vast array of plants and seeds which are available, i am busy trying to select some really hot chillis to grow, it irks me somewhat when i give my friends hot chillis to try and they proceed by Kate Bradbury

Trouble germinating sweet corn
All my toms, chillies, beans and peas are all growing well but my sweetcorn incredible and market more cucumbers which remain around 18-20c have not germinated and looking for tips to get them going. A bit early maybe? This may nelp http by Jay12

Celeriac info
Cooked first Celeriac last crimbo with garlic,chillie and cream mmm , now hooked on this ugly veg . Since then Celeriac price risen by about 50p ! So anyway just got an allotment this year and i fancy growing some from seed ,is it too late? any tips by man in a shed

under sweetcorn. Brassicas don't mind a bit of shade. Give it a go and let us know! I grow sweetcorn in a polytunnel at a spacing of about 45cm each way. They cast little shade and the bush tomatoes,basil,chillies and cucumbers in between  don't seem by PatsyC
